The Olsen Twins Time Line

Friday, June 13 1986:
Jarnie and Dave Olsen, are proud parents of their 2&3 child; fraternal
twins. Ashley Fuller Olsen made the first appearence into the world two minutes
before her sister Mary-Kate Olsen.
Seven Months Later:
Mary-Kate and Ashley are chosen to share a role, portraying "Michelle
Elizabeth Tanner", in the soon-to-be hit t.v. series "Full
House."
Two Months Later: The
series aires its pilot on ABC, and is an instant hit for the family viewers.
"Michelle Elizabeth Tanner" the character everyone fell in love with,
because even though "Michelle" didn't speak, she responded very well
to the other characters on the show.

A Year or so Later, 1988: Mary-Kate
and Ashley are still in the show which is about to start their second season,
and many of the viewers are not aware that "Michelle Elizabeth Tanner"
is actually played by twins, who are now two years old.

A Year Later, 1989: Michelle
is now almost three, and is starting to grow in lines and starting to develop a
trade-mark of catch phrases and cute hair-styles. The popular
"Michelle" doll is now sold in stores.

A Year Later, 1990: "Full
House" is now in its third season, and "Michelle" is now almost
4, and is speaking her most loved lines, "You've got it dude" and
"You're in big trouble mister" The Olsens parents wonder if they
should pull Mary-Kate and Ashley from "Full House" but the Olsens
don't want to leave, so their parents decide against it.

A Year Later, 1991:
Mary-Kate and Ashley are now five and so is their character
"Michelle," actually she is a few months younger than the Olsens are.
Mary-Kate and Ashley are starting to make a name for themselves more people are
recognizing them as two, instead of one.Mary-Kate and Ashley make their first
production aside from "Full House", they record a read-along tape for
kids. "How to Ride a Rhinocerus"

A Year Later, 1992:
Mary-Kate and Ashley now six, form their very own productions company, and
become the youngest executive producers. The Olsens record their first album,
"Brother for Sale"and their second read-along tape for kids, "The
Big Terrible Mess." Their first straight-to-t.v. movie, "To
Grandmother's House We Go" which Mary-Kate discovers her love of horses
after the movie shoot, and Ashley is now a dancing queen; she starts taking
ballet.

A Year Later, 1993: Mary-Kate
and Ashley at age 7 now have their own fan club, and the first issue of
"Our Funzine" is released. Along with the the release of their second
straight-to-t.v. movie, "Double Double Toil and Trouble" and their
first home video, "Our First Video" along with another Olsen record,
"I am the Cute One." "Full House" is now in its 6th
season.The Olsens also make their very first appearance on the big screen in a
cameo appearance as twins at a sleepover in the popular movie, "The Little
Rascals."

A Year Later, 1994: Mary-Kate
and Ashley at age 8 film their third t.v. movie, "How the West Was
Fun" and start their first video series, "The Adventures of Mary-Kate
and Ashley" which is accompanied by a new album "Give Me a
Mystery." The Olsens go on their first fan christmas cruise with "Sail
With the Stars" and film two new "Adventures of Mary-Kate and
Ashley" videos during it.

A Year Later, 1995:
Mary-Kate and Ashley are now nine, and "Full House" has ended after 8
seasons. The Olsens make their first star appearance in the movie "It Takes
Two." Also they form a new video series, "You're Invited"

A Year Later, 1996:
Mary-Kate and Ashley are now ten and win the Kids Choice Award for "Best
Movie Actress" for "It Takes Two." The Olsens parents divorce,
and their gets father remarried to Mckenzie Taylor. The MaryKate and Ashley now
have a new sibling, Taylor, their sister.

A Year Later, 1997:
Mary-Kate and Ashley are now 11, not much happens in this year for the twins.
They go on a cruise with their fans in the summer. They also make a few new 30
minute videos for their "Adventure", and "Your Invited"
series. The pilot for "Two of a Kind" is filmed. They decide to stop
filming the 30 minute "Adventure" videos.

A Year Later, 1998:
Mary-Kate and Ashley are now 12. "Two of a Kind" airs on ABC friday
nights, on TGIF. They start two new book series "New Adventures" and
"Two of a Kind." Their first direct-to-video movie "Billboard
Dad" is released. Bismark, the Olsen family's first dog died. Their dad and
stepmom have a boy, Jake, Mary-Kate and Ashley's half-brother.

A Year Later, 1999:
They are now 13, no longer pre-teens, but now teens. "Two of a Kind"
is canceled after its first season, but then later ABC Family Channel begins
showing the re-runs. They make "Passport To Paris" which is their
second direct-to-video release and their first over-seas video. They win a
second Kids Choice Award for best tv actress for "Two of a Kind."
Their first video game is released.

A Year Later, 2000:
Mary-Kate and Ashley are now 14 and begin High School. They film "Our Lips
Are Sealed" in Australlia and they make the last "You're Invited"
video. A new book series is released, "Starring In:"

A Year Later, 2001:
Mary-kate and Ashley's clothing line is released, and so is their magazine. The
magazine ends after 3 issues. Their new tv show"So Little Time"
premires. and "Winning London" filmed in London, England is released.
They also start a new animated series "Action Girls", which they do
the voices for.

A Year Later, 2002:
Mary-kate and Ashley make their first appearance at the Oscars, during the after
party. Mary-Kate Olsen is nominated for an Emmy, for her character "Riley
Carlson" in "So Little Time." Mary-Kate and ashley present at the
Emmys for the Online votes. "Holiday in the Sun" is released which was
filmed in the Bahamas. The Olsenstravel to London for charities and to meet the
press. They travel to Italy to film their last direct to video release,
"When in Rome" , too be released on video in late 2002.

Sweet Sixteen; June 13, 2002:
Mary-Kate and Ashley makes sure that the world knows, the twin superstars are
16! They came out with a movie, "Getting There: Sweet Sixteen and Licensed
to Drive" a "Sweet Sixteen" 3 book series, and "Sweet
Sixteen" dolls. The Olsens also made a big announcment that they are
finished making direct to video movies and are now going to be making theatrical
films instead.
